  15. <p>     RETURNED. TYLER DOUSTOU, 2, to his mother, Sharon Bottoms, 24;
  16. by a unanimous decision of the Virginia appeals court; in Richmond.
  17. Last September, Tyler was placed with his grandmother after
  18. a lower-court judge ruled that Bottoms' relationship with a
  19. female live-in lover made her an "unfit parent." The appeals
  20. court held that there was no evidence that Bottoms' homosexuality
  21. "has or will have a deleterious effect on her son." Hailed by
  22. gay-rights supporters, Bottoms still insists, "I'm not a hero.
  23. I'm just a mother trying to get her son back."
